Evans Pumpkin Carving 2012

On Monday evening, while the 49ers were mercilessly beating the Cardinals (yesss!), my husband and I carved our yearly pumpkins.  I'm super proud of my husband for selecting a more challenging piece and pulling it off beautifully!  I about had a coronary while carving mine - the tiny pieces almost fell apart too many times for my liking.  We had a blast though and I'm truly proud of what we pulled off!

This is how our space started out.

My husband hard at work.

Mmm... guts!

Working on those stencils.

Remember!  Start with the little pieces first!

 Then the larger pieces!

A rare shot of yours truly!

This is what our space ended up looking like.
Thankfully clean up was a breeze!

  1. I am trying to find the Eye of Newt Printable Pattern. Do you have a link for it or a copy I can get somehow? I love it and I looked through your whole Pinterest page too and couldn't find it. Please Help. Thank you!

    1. Hi Lisa - I'm glad you like it so much! I got the pattern from ZombiePumpkins.com (link: http://www.zombiepumpkins.com/eye-of-newt-pumpkin-pattern/102/) They do charge for this design but the fee is very low. This pattern was so fun to carve - hope you enjoy it too!
