Halloween Decorating and Such


It's been a crazy past few weeks.  My real world job plus moving and settling in plus... you know... life have tragically kept me from the blogging world.  But now I'm back!  And in full spooky force!!!

We did take time out of settling in to decorate for Halloween.  I found some great black fabric from Jo-Ann and finally learned the art of layering in decorating.


This fabric is a lace overlaid with strips of cotton pieces.  It's wonderfully creepy.  We draped it over the front entry table and our new mantle.  It was bit pricey but we looked at it as an investment.  Honestly, how do you not use something so beautiful from year to year?
 We also have this awesome banister in our loft to decorate now.  So fun to decorate.  I'm sure this will evolve over the years.  But I think this is nice start, don't you?
There are many more Halloween tricks and treats to come.  Stay tuned over the next few weeks.

      I got the 40W Red Lightbulb at Party City (also available in Purple). It worked great!
