Halloween Hangover 2012

How was your Halloween?  Halloween at the Evans House was frightfully fun!  We tried out a new decoration this year that will definitely be making a comeback next year!  Let's just say we had kids tell us they were scared to come up our walkway - success!  Enjoy this quick recap of our night... I'm going to get back to packing up all the decorations!

We used black trash bags to create these creepy drapes in our walkway.
Trick-or-Treaters had to make their way through for their candy!
Also, this is the one time of year that having a stucco house is amazing!
Spider webs stretch and stick so easily to the wall!

Every year we create a path from the street to the front door with paper bag luminaries.
To be extra safe, we use candles in votives {you could also use LED lights}.

With the yard and pumpkins lit up... it was time to wait.

Mmm... candy!

All lit up and looking creepy.

Front yard shot!

I'm sure these look familiar.  :)

We love putting candles in front of the tombstones.
Adds to the eerie effect.

And a little light in the front window to help kids find their way.

This is what our front walkway looked like from the perspective of our little visitors.
Spoooooooooky!

This has been an amazing Halloween and I had a blast celebrating all month with you!
